Gallery hall of sets

AJ Squared is the set design and scenic painting division of JACINTO ENTERPRISES comprised of husband and wife team Professor Arnulfo & Alisa Jacinto. 

The name "AJ2"  or "AJ SQUARED" was based on both Alisa's and Arnulfo's initials. The equation on the logo "

sp=aj2 is based on the famous Einstein's physics formula E=mc2, which in our area of expertise is SP, "Set Painting" or "Scenic Painting" equals AJ2.

Prof. Jacinto, who is also the creative Art Director, combines his 45 plus years of experiences as an illustrator, studio and digital artist. He obtained his BFA in Illustration design and Marketing from the University of Southern California. He also obtained his MFA in studio and digital arts from Liberty University, where his thesis subject was entitled: BRING BACK THE INTEGRETY OF ANIMATION, THROUH EDUCATION AND THE ROLLERBOTS. He works with the latest in computer graphics to customize designs specific to the clients needs.

Prof. Jacinto does not just paint or design the set when commissioned he researches the time period, historical accuracy and develops a comp before the production of the set begins.  at times there may be some "artist license' in some designs as requested by the director of the performance, and he will bring this to the directors attention.

Since 2016 both Arnulfo and Alisa have completed about 180 sets from elementary schools to elite theaters throughout Lynchburg and the surrounding areas.
